Jennifer brings up the twins without nannies

Jennifer and Marc have reportedly shunnes regular childcare help and are keen to raise their twins by themselves.
The couple enlisted Jennifer´s sister, Lynda, to help out until they got into the swing of it, but Lynda reportedly left in April and now Jennifer and Marc are handling diaper duty on their own.
A source says: “Jennifer has been looking forward to being a mom for so long that she has no interest in just handing her children over to someone else.
They´ll hire babysitters or nannies to cover particular occasions, but on a day to day basis it´s just them, and they´re loving it.

She is also thinking about the 93,000 sick and seriously injured children treated annually by Childrens Hospital Los Angeles — and how she can help.
Jennifer announced Wednesday that she’ll host and help coordinate the third Noche de Ninos benefit gala. This year’s star-studded party, to be held Oct. 11 at the Nokia Center, will feature performances by Jennifer herself, Anthony, Alejandro Sanz and Latin rockers Juanes and Mana.
Jennifer, who was Noche de Ninos’ first honoree in 2004, said her twin son and daughter inspired her to get more involved.

Deseo for men

Call it the scent of sexy: Jennifer is launching her first men’s fragrance in September, and it’s all about passion.
“I wanted to capture the intimate and personal nature of a man who is sexy, yet strong,” Lopez said of Deseo for Men, a counterpart to Deseo for Women, launched last September. “Deseo means desire. Desire is a universal word that expresses passion between two people. I wanted to take this meaning and put it behind the idea of one desiring another. The smell is warming and creates a provocative and sensual texture.

Lawsuit against Jennifer dismissed by Judge
A judge in New York has dismissed a lawsuit against JENNIFER from a writer who accused her of stealing his idea for a TV series.
Jack Bunick filed suit at the U.S. District Court in Manhattan claiming 2006 drama series South Beach - which was executive produced by Jennifer - was too similar to the plot of a pilot episode he wrote in 1999 for a programme called South Beach Miami.
Bunick named Jennifer, United Paramount Network (UPN) and CBS Television in the suit.
But Judge Richard Berman tossed the lawsuit out of court on Wednesday (30Apr08) declaring there to be inadequate evidence to take the case to trial. The judge also noted that there was “powerful evidence” that the defendants had created the series independently.
Papers filed by Jennifer’s lawyers claimed that although she was an executive producer, she was barely involved in the development and was only brought in at a later stage to “lend celebrity to the show.”
The show was cancelled after just eight episodes following poor reviews and low viewing figures.

Jennifer´s show will not feature her family

Jennifer has denied fans the chance of an in-depth look at her world in her forthcoming reality TV show - as the programme will not feature any aspects of her personal life.
The singer/actress was reported to have given the camera crew licence to follow her while she tries to juggle her music and acting careers with motherhood.
But now the star has insisted the programme, commissioned for U.S. cable channel TLC, will only cover launch of her new fragrance - and not her home life.
Lopez’s manager Simon Fields has revealed that anyone hoping for a glimpse of her life with husband Marc Anthony and their baby twins will be disappointed.
He tells People.com, “The recent show Jennifer Lopez plans to produce for TLC is not a reality show.
“It’s a show that will track the creation, production and eventual launch of a new fragrance. Jennifer will appear in a creative, entrepreneurial capacity and will absolutely not feature her children and family life.”
